Since 2017 the Frans Zwols, have won over 70 times first or second open at National, Combine level.

Formula 1 lofts did not just buy apples from the tree, we dug the tree up and moved it to the uk, lock stock and barrel and we have carried on in the same way as Frans did, in developing and enhancing this wonderful family of pigeons. 

We brought all of Frans Champion racers and breeders, which allows us to not only provide many winning pigeons to others but also win at the very highest levels ourselves.

The Frans Zwols are one of a few families which have come into the UK in recent years, which are standing the test of time, and getting stronger and stronger each season. 

Being one of very few families which win from 50 - 590 miles in both quick easy days and slow harder days at the highest levels, on all routes. 

Breaking records that have stood since the likes of the National flying club have existed. i.e the first 8 positions in the NFC by one fancier and the first 14 by one family of pigeons . This was followed just 6 days later in the BICC National with the first 3 positions and 12 of the first 14 being Frans Zwols for 4 different fanciers.

THE winner of the Golden De Duif U.K & ROI 2020 – Gladwin & Jarvis (All results with Frans Zwols) – to win this special competition you need top results in sprint, middle and long distance old birds and sprint and middle distance young birds. Proving what a great all-round family of pigeons the Frans Zwols are. This includes 3 x 1st combine at over 500 miles, 1st Open BICC Agen 531 miles and 1st section 2nd open BICC Narbourne 592 miles. During the same period, they have done very well sprinting from 50 miles upwards inland with 100’s of winners. In addition to this they also win big at the middle distance with many big winners in both old birds and young birds at the middle distance. 

The results prove that the Frans Zwols are truly a great, all-round family of pigeons, which win from 50 - 590 miles, at the very highest levels all over the U.K

The Frans Zwols have won multiple National flying clubs, BICC and BBC nationals with both young birds and old birds from 200 – 592 miles. 

They have also won multiple Welsh nationals, Up North Combine (UNC) Scottish National and many other combines and classics around the U.K again all since 2017.

In total an amazing record of over 70 times in the first 2 places at National, Combine or Amal levels in just 5 seasons.

Formula 1 Lofts have continued to develop the Frans Zwols, by following and developing Frans methods of adding the big multiple winners back to stock and adding birds from very proven breeders back to stock, whilst each year removing the ones which do not live up to our high expectations. Hence the family is getting stronger each year and we keep finding new super breeders and racers, which was always going to be our big test, could we find the next generation of top-class breeders. A test I think we have passed with flying colours.
