Marral Loft was formed in 2023 shortly after our friend Derek Rooney passed away. We got a phone call from his son Jonny to go and buy some pigeons, everything started then.
In 2024 we decide together that is a must to invest some money in quality birds and so we did just that, First we get some late breds from RILEY & MORAN from his best breeding pigeons, most of his pigeons are descendants from DEREK NICHOLLS and some from our best friend Stewart Knowles! Seeing that we didn't think twice and we purchased over 20 birds from PREMIER STUD, from his iconic breeders! - One of the best things we have done!
We also introduced top stock pigeons from:
Les Carter (EXCELSIOR), Derek Rooney, Central Lofts, Flanders Collection, Stewart Knowles, John Crehan, Les Green, Derek Walsh, John Jackson, Justin Rogers(Bosliven Lofts),
Mark Walker, Dehon-Demonseau (Best Kittel), Eijerkamp, & Leideman Brothers!
We are very proud of our results in the first year with just 30 youngsters in a very hard competition with sprint masters around!
In a very short time we received some positive results back from our friends where we sent a few youngsters for testing. In my opinion the fastest way to find the best breeders is to test your birds in as many lofts you can and you can see what amazing references we get back in just one year time!
