OBITUARY TO "SPIDERMAN"

It is with deep regret that we announce the death of May Pigeons Supersire “Spiderman”

This phenomenal breeding cock has been at the heart of our fantastic winning bloodlines and the base bloodlines of so many winning lofts in the UK and around the world.

Spiderman is responsible for well over 700 winners, in fact too many to count, including 4 x 1st Open National winners, 2 x 1st One loft race winners and multiple ace birds and Olympiad birds. May Pigeons alone have won 1st Open National, 215 x 1st Club, 88 x 1st Federation, 15 x 1st combine since 2017!

He is a son of the world famous ‘Rossi x Spinneke’, we understand this outstanding breeding pair only had 6 offspring together and were sire and dam to not only Spiderman but other superstars including the world famous Nieuwe Rossi.

Spiderman’s legacy lives on here at May Pigeons with his outstanding dynasty of elite breeding offspring, with many children housed in our breeding lofts, all of which responsible for many winners.

Over the years, it has been fantastic to hear the success that this great pigeon has brought to fanciers across the globe, with some of the greatest fanciers around owing a large portion of their success to the legend “Spiderman”, who in many of their own words “founded their lofts”.

A fantastic legacy this amazing pigeon has left, from the moment he was introduced into our loft at the end of 2010 as a youngster, until his last day. An absolute privilege to have been able to have owned this once in a lifetime bird, who will go down in history as one of the all-time greats and his legacy will live on through his fantastic offspring!
