Exciting and brand new for 2025, the inaugural British Isles Ace Awards promises an exhilarating experience for pigeon racing enthusiasts. This innovative competition allows participants to avoid the typical last-minute rush of entries; instead, competitors can upload their Fed, National, or Open results weekly throughout the racing season. A dynamic provisional leaderboard will update in real-time, showcasing the progress of each participant’s pigeon as the season unfolds. Following the success of 2024, where a remarkable £8,925 was awarded—£5,000 of which was distributed among three categories.
This streamlined format not only amplifies the excitement but also fosters a sense of community among racers. With weekly updates, participants can stay engaged and motivated, making the British Isles Ace Awards a must-enter event for those passionate about the sport. For British Isles Ace Pinnacle ‘Sprint’ (0-250 Miles) Old Bird - Maximum of 4 Best Individual Performances submitted
For British Isles Ace Pinnacle ‘Middle’ (250-450 Miles) Old Bird - Maximum of 3 Best Individual Performances submitted
For British Isles Ace Pinnacle ‘Long’ (450+ Miles) Old Bird - Maximum of 2 Best Individual Performances submitted
For British Isles Ace Pinnacle ‘Young Bird’ (Any Distance Flown) Current Year Rung 2025 - Maximum of 3 Best Individual Performances submitted

Performances are to be attained in the current year
No Duplicate Results
Results must have a minimum of 20 members competing
Results must have a minimum of 400 birds competing to be eligible in the sprint and young bird categories, and a minimum of 200 birds competing for the middle, & long categories
Results must have a minimum of 100 birds competing to be eligible in the 'one loft race' category
Results can be attained from federation, section, open race, combine, amal or national competition, with the highest scoring performance used.
Pigeons to have been flown within the British Isles under federation, section, open race, combine or national competition only, midweek federation or midweek open race competitions are also included.
Multiple pigeons clocked on the same second will be classed as a dead heat and accepted as equal.
The pigeon with the highest points total wins.

In the scenario shown above, The pigeons in positions 1 & 2 rung with GB24X00001 & GB24X00002 would both be classed as first place and therefore both can be entered and score as a 1st place, the pigeon in 3rd place remains 3rd and would be entered and scored as a 3rd place.
The points scoring method and the result ranking of ace pigeon will be decided upon from a points table (snapshot illustrated below).
The scoring cap is set at 5000 birds

Please upload your results once the website is live.
Please upload all documents, which should comprise of your clocking sheets (to be signed by your club officials) & federation results
along with your full name, address, email telephone number, loft number, and club secretary contact number.
As an applicant, you will be consenting and agreeing to part donating to the future of ”Pinnacle” by providing Excelsior Pigeon Auctions with a pigeon bred directly from your prize winning pigeon(s).
in circumstances where such pigeon has been lost, then same way bred or a sibling is acceptable.
You will receive 50% of the auction value in GBP and the other 50% will be retained by Excelsior Pigeon for admin fees of the auction and the remainder to go towards sustaining the future growth of ”Pinnacle” British Isles Ace Awards.
For any top 10 positions gained across all categorys, a pigeon should be donated per position achieved from you winning pigeon(s), in circumstances where such pigeon has been lost, then same way bred or a sibling is acceptable.
Failure to provide Pinnacle with a pigeon for their special auction of title winners can lead to the withholding of any potential prize money that may be due to you. It is crucial for participants to comply with this requirement, as the auction relies on the contributions of all title winners to ensure its success. By neglecting to fulfill this obligation, you risk not only missing out on the chance to celebrate your achievements but also on the financial rewards associated with your participation.
